Check out this cool, new service from Vogue Knitting: Knit Book. In short, the service allows you to select your favorite patterns (from Vogue Knitting and their sister publications) and compile them into a book. You can customize the cover photo, color, and dedication, and then have the book printed and shipped to you. This would make a great gift for a fellow fiber lover, and it's also a nice way to compile your favorite go-to patterns. Books start at $24.95, which is really a pretty good deal when you consider the price of individual patterns ($5–$6). File this under: Why didn't I think of that?
