Reconstructed Men's Tee w/ Handpainted Design
comments (0) May 22nd, 2009 in galleryI took a men's large tee shirt and fit it to flatter a woman's figure by contouring the sides and cutting the sleeves and neckline. I painted a watercolor southwest design by Ciccollela, on the front. The soft ruffle is from the trimmed neck piece. I cut leaf shaped pieces of tee shirt from the excess sleeve material and randomly sewed them all around the neckline. Edges are left raw for texture. The bottom of the tee has a nice fringe, made by just slicing upwards about 4-5 inches. So much fun to make and easy too! She is for sale in my Etsy shop.
