This Friday marks the deadline to enter SewStylish Spring Fashion Contest, so don't forget to upload your entries on time!

To enter, sew up your versions of Simplicity SewStylish 2657. You can change the pattern any way you like or sew it straight from the package. Then, upload a picture of your creation to the gallery by June 5, 2009, 11:59pm for a chance to win.

We'll pick our top favorites based on creativity and technique. Then, you'll get to vote on the winner.

The winner will receive a Singer Esteem II sewing machine, Pattern Master Boutique pattern-drafting software from Wild Ginger, and Threads Industry Insider Techniques, Volumes I and II DVDs.

To see how we transformed the pattern into 9 different looks, be sure and check out the Spring '09 issue of SewStylish available online or on newsstands now.

For more information on the Singer Esteem II sewing machine, click here. It has 23 built-in stitches, a 1-step automatic buttonhole, and free-arm capabilities.

If you haven't already heard about Wild Ginger's awesome software for drafting your own sewing patterns, click here. The program allows you to input up to 15 of your own body dimensions to create patterns custom made for you. Draft blouses, dresses, jackets, jumpsuits, pants, sheaths, and skirts with just a few mouse clicks and print out the patterns on your home printer. You can choose from dozens of necklines, darts, closures, collars, sleeves, cuffs, and pockets to detail the more than 90 built-in designs to automatically customize patterns to your preferences. You can also use the CAD Pattern Editor to create your own unique designs.

Threads Industry Insider Techniques, Volumes I and II DVDs

They're like having a sewing guru in your own home to help you master the details that make your garments worthy of a designer label.
