This is my first ever entry into a sewing contest.  It is a top made with Simplicity pattern 2657, size 16.   I added the embroidered piece on the front bodice as I felt I need a bit more coverage.  I added a narrow ribbon under the bust to give it a bit of color and interest there.  The bottom hem was sewn with a scalloped stitch then trimmed close to the stitches.
