This music/jewelry box was made from tag boards, fabric with glued japanese paper with no grain, and an existing music maker from a previous music box. My friend had asked that I make her this because her existing music box had fallen apart and she had no place to put her jewelry. This took a while because I had to wait for the japanese paper to dry to the fabric and also designing the specific measurements...and previous experience with bookmaking made it easier...and for a first time making this, I thought it turned out quite nice.
