biddy32 writes: Okay Mooona my friend, I have made a flower very similar to this one long ago. Being as I am somewhat older than you I have some patterns from Threads Magazines from many years ago. In the April/May 1996 Threads, there was an article entitled Ribbonwork Flowers. Six pages of flowers creatd using millinery techniques. Among those flowers is one that you certainly would be able to use to create one like the one you have pictured.
I would be more than happy to send you a copy of this article. I believe it would be best if it were copied in color and mailed to you. In addition I have a second article entitled Fabric in Bloom from the Feb/Mar 1999 issue of Threads with flowers you might like as well. If you would e-mail me an address to chickadee0248@live.com, I will forward copies to you.

theemptynest writes: It looks like it is strips of fabric that are twisted and turned as they are sewn in a circular design. Embellished with glass beads and other vintage looking items. I am googleing the technique as we speak :-)
