Button Flashbacks Purse
comments (2) June 11th, 2009 in galleryThis purse project was designed for my students who did not know how to sew on the sewing machine, but wanted to make something creative.
Timtex was cut out in either a rectangular or round shape, then covered in fabric. The buttons are stitched randomly over the front of the purse. Both sides of the purse are covered with buttons. The sections of the purse are then sewn together, and a handle added to the top.
This is a great way to use all of those loose and one of a kind buttons that you have lying around in jars and boxes.
