crudeco writes: carole, sure the box materials can be double, especially when using recycled magazine pages. But I prefer the strength and durability of one thick 120 pound test sheet. Or better yet, vintage book pages from the late 40's through early 60's....those pages feel like linen to the touch and make such a lovely gift box.

Easy enough perhaps to make, many utube links and demonstrations, even etsy offers a tutorial. But I have two tricks with my handmade gift boxes and I can make one box from start to finish in 3 minutes and 40 seconds. So, whippin' then out has also been perfected.

Thanks for commenting on my craftstylish work....off to check you out.

Carolebarrel writes: Any weight recycled paper can be used to make boxes by doubling the thickness if origami techniques are used as long as the stock is not too thick to fold.
