Two Tops into One

The finished product -simple and totally wearable
Started with a plan white singlet top and a thing summer top, both old and the latter was too short for me. I used the ruffled collar of the summer top and attached it at an angle to the white singlet top. I also added a bit of the ruffles to the inside of the singlet top so it stuck out a bit.
Then i used the leftover ruffled trim to make a shabby rose

How to create your own personalised version:

1) Take two old tops - one plain coloured and simple and another with a pattern you still want to preserve

2) Pick the best feature of the patterned top and cut it at an interesting angle (or however you like it to be)

3) Sew the patterned section(s) to the plain top and add a bit for the insert

4) Make extra assessories like a rose to add to your restyled top

5) Voila! You have a new recreated addition to your wardrobe PLUS getting rid of two old tops at the same time :-)
