Colorful Basket with ribbon woven in and beads to match.
Turned rim basket with beads strung on ribbon and sewed to basket.
This one is made with a mixture of scraps and large cotton sash cord.
A buddy to a previously posted basket for my granddaughters Easter basket.
I created a gathered fabric rim for this one, then added ribbon and beads.

I have wanted to post more pictures of my baskets inspired by how to sew a fabric bowl post.  I had difficulty at first getting pictures to post and now that I have figured it out wanted to share more.  The biggest challenge in making these baskets I have found is finishing them off in a manner that does not show the end conspicuously.  That is why I have gone to sculpting on the outside and using the fabric rim on some.  I just can't stop making them!
