Four More Tote Bag Projects for the Hook and Needle Crowd
July 8th, 2008 in other crafts, knitting, crochetIt is absolutely amazing how many great tote bag patterns there are on the web. I was already excited about our challenge but when I got a look at these..whoa! This post is for the knitting and crochet contenders and if these projects don't get your fingers itching... well I don't know what will.
First, here are two awesome how-to projects for knitted tote bags:
- Straw.com and Crystal Palace Yarns have a wide range of free knitting and crochet patterns (lots of bags) but when I saw the English Garden Felted Carpetbag by Terry L. Ross, I was ready to drop everything and get going.
- Time is definitely on your side with this quick knit, market bag, by Italian knitter Elisa at Purlbee.
And for the masters with a hook, two wonderful crochet projects:
- This free pattern offered by Marlo's Crochet Corner features a lovely and large 19"x15" crochet tote.
- You are going to love, love, love this 'Cottage Bag' pattern at Dances With Wools.
