This is me meeting up with Octy, The Yarny Octopus!

Thank you for posting this technique, I totally freaked out when I found it.The superfun I had making these little fellas when I was a kid suddenly popped up again, yay!

I took deep pink yarn and decided to keep him one eyed only.

It is totally eeeeasy and praise the lord I'm on my holiday right now, otherwise I would end up ditching my studies for Octy and his family, haha..

peggyann212 writes: Ha LOL I was remembering these yarn octopus just the other day, thinking it would be fun to "bring it back" My yarn octopus was yellow and my sisters was pink, and yup I put the legs out on my bed too. Good craft for the kids/tweens boys like them too.

sewitall writes: My most remembered birthday gift from a neighborhood friend was a kit of yarn and some eyes to glue on and you made an octopus out of it. The finished product sat in the middle of my bed all spread out, every day. I was so proud I made it and I was probably second grade.
