These are made by using the double crochet stitch with crochet hook H.  I make mine 25 rows x 25 so that they are totally square.

kissamew writes: I crochet cotton cloths also. I like them better for so many cleaning jobs and no icky sponges. When they get worn or stained they get to be car cloths or floor cloths. Yours look so cheerful!
