Inspired by the fabric bowl found here at Craft Stylish, I have been experimenting and coming up with lots of ideas for coiled fabric.

Here are two handbags I created using blue, pink and yellow Barbie fabric. The larger one has a long matching fabric shoulder strap. The smaller one will have 4" yellow Marbella rings for handles, once I finish up the hand sewing. I am putting a pocket in the smaller one.

They are fun to make. I am really enjoying sewing AGAIN. My poor sewing machine sat and sat neglected for about 2 years. With these projects, it is getting a good workout.
