Every spring, in my sixth grade classroom, we open our classroom doors for an "Art Gallery Night".  Parents and friends are invited to show off all of our year's artwork.  The children act as docents and share what they know about the famous artists we have studied.  We also do one all-class project and this is the centerpiece of our display.  This year, it was "Daisy", a very large, paper mache' bird.
