Cover with a book cover I had made, but it wouldnt work well on real books. It was perfect for my keepsake book though!
Birthday page has a secret inside it! Can you find it?
I tucked some jewelry inside as a gift.
Drawings...
Traced a page from a book and added on to the page with a quote from the book as well.

I have now made two books like this for friends since I am often short of funds to buy people nice gifts. However I am a firm believer in the fact that it's the thought that counts, and I have put hours into making these books as a special something. It beats a halmark card any day! One of my friends almost cried when she got hers! This is the first keepsake book I have documented after making and before giving it.

Here's a list of things you could gather together to make your own!

  • Brown paper bag - just cut out the sides and bottom into one long strip and cut pages as you desire sizes.
  • Photos, magazine clippings, old encyclopedia pages,
  • Bits of ribbon, fabric, string
  • Old costume jewelry
  • Creativity!

Happy crafting!
