Bolero jacket
comments (0) February 8th, 2010 in galleryThis is a bolero made with a synthetic organza like fabric. The silver fabric has an embroidered design of circular swirls and a slight touch of glitter which makes it appropriate for evening wear. I added a ruffled accent. Next I sewed in the lining, except for the sleeves which are not lined. And I finished all seamed edges with a rolled hem. The Needle I used was 9 sharp, stitch size 2.0 to 2.5mm
Tip: you may want to use tissue paper so the fabric won't catch. I cut one inch strips of tissue and put it on the on the part of the fabric that goes over the feed dog. Just Stitch over the tissue then just tear it off.
