My daughter recently graduated from college and started her job at a bank.  I wanted her to have a suit that was fashionable and professional at the same time.  This look was perfect.  She wanted color, so I made the bodice from another fabric.   I used Simplicity pattern #3874 for the dress and McCalls pattern #9216 for the jacket.
