Simple Contoured Bust Dress
September 23rd, 2009 in sewing, galleryI saw a dress on BurdaStyle and I knew instantly that I wanted to make it. I had some gray stretch cotton laying around and I thought it'd be the perfect fabric for this simple vintage inspired dress. I used black piping around the bust to add a little drama. I gathered it at the waist and put a 9" invisible zipper in the back of the dress. I hemmed it at about 1 1/2." I also put a little halter strap around the neck and closed it using a snap.
