I started with an adult wool & mohair pullover and felted it in my washing machine. For a felting (fulling) tutorial, see my July 17th blog post

I needle felted wool yarn flower stems on the front.
I bound the edges with vintage fabric trim and added my handmade yo-yo's for flowers
I raided my growing remnant stash for pockets.
I embellished with more needle felting
