I had to do this dress! I love it especially with the ruffle and still very simple. The fabric is a stretch cotton linen woven with the behavior of a true knit. Very comfy chic!! My inspiration: Milly Cascade sheath dress has a asymmetric V neckline. Sleeveless. Cascading Ruffle down front side. Front slit detail at hem. Asymmetric V’d back. Polyester/viscose/wool/elastine. Made in Italy of domestic material. Retails for $360.

The back of the dress is not exactly like the original. No asymetrical lines in the back. Anyway, it's all about the fit...right?
On the 1/2 mani, sans belt. It has the front slit just like the original, just not as high. Ahhh modesty! The ruffle is really 1 piece, which I drafted. The bodice is from McCalls. Pattern # 5041 from 2006. Center back invisable zipper.
On the 1/2 mani with belt. The cascading ruffle was finished with the serger using a rolled hem stitch in black, so it adds a bit of contrast and detail to the ruffles edge.
