My daughter designed this dress for her Renaissance Festival costume. It is a period version of the Marilyn Monroe "Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend" dress from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes movie. It has a chemise underneath, hoop skirt, black skirt and then the pink dress over that. She did participate in a fund raiser/Ren Fest promo at the Susan G. Komen center here in Houston, Texas earlier this month.

Make it Pink
Upload photos of handmade pink projects in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
For each pink project uploaded to the contest gallery during the month of October, CraftStylish will donate $1 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure (total donation up to $500).
The member who uploads the highest number of pink projects to the gallery will receive an In-Home cabinet, filled with one spool of each color of 100% polyester thread from Gütermann.
All Make It Pink projects must be something that you have made (not something you have bought).
A specific project can be uploaded only once. There is no limit to the number of pink projects you can enter.
