Thanks Cal Patch! I followed her instructions for a men's fleece hoodie but with a cooler fabric (sorry cal), and even though it was my first sewing project, it turned out OK! It took me 15 hours straight because I didn't have a sewing machine so I had to do it by hand, and I still need to do some hemming, but I'm so happy about it! Now I need to find a way to do the pants to match. :)

Shielahan writes: Your hoodie looks great (love the fabric!)... but would be a bit blousy for my slim guy. Part of the appeal of the author's hoodie [to me] is the slim fit. Your version points up that the finished hoodie will fit like the T on which it was patterned (duh... obviously :-))but, of course you may be ok with the blousy look. Kudos on making the thing by hand!
