Pink Handmade Cottage Chic Welcome To My Home Pillow - Cross Stitched
comments (0) October 31st, 2009 in galleryThis sweet pillow is so full of cottage charm and the perfect final touch to your sitting area or the guest bedroom. This would also make a wonderful gift for someone on your holiday list who loves shabby chic cottage decor.
The center of this pillow has a beautiful cross stitched motif with a single heart and two roses on both sides.
The saying underneath says "Welcome to My Home".
The lettering is stitched in a rich shade of mauve, with the heart and roses being stitched in several shades of sweet pinks and mauve. The leaves were stitched in shades of mossy green, and a twinkle of light blue.
A mauve matalesse fabric borders the design, with a pretty white lace across the top and bottom.
You'll find a beautiful high end rose print fabric as the outer border, and it's simply beautiful!
The 1 1/2" ruffle was fashioned out of a crisp white embroidered lace.
On the reverse side of the pillow you'll find a rose filled print. The background is white with tiny dots and petite roses.
This Pillow measures 16 x 14 inches including the generous ruffle and has been stuffed with only the softest fiber filling and hand stitched closed.
This is so much prettier than the photos show. A one of a kind beauty
