Annie - Pink and Whited Vintage Pillowcase Halter Dress or Top
October 31st, 2009 in sewing, fashion, restyle, embroidery, galleryThis darling and unique little halter dress or top was created using a vintage pillowcase. This dress is gathered at the top with soft comfy stretchable elastic forming a ruffle at the top. The shoulders have pink satin ribbon ties and a removable matching bow accents the bodice.
A row of sweet embroidered pastel pink florals lines the front with baby blue dots in between each little bouquet on this white case. The leaves are done in a soft pastel shade of green. Below the floral line are 3 rows of more of the satin stitched dots.
The hemline has been hand tatted into a beautiful lace design.
All seams have been professional finished and ribbons have been treated to prevent fraying.
This little grow with me dress or top can fit several sizes from 24M and up depending on your child's measurements. The dress or top measures 18"L. The elastic unstretched is 18" around. Stretched it measures 30" around. Measure your child according to these measurements.
