This Japanese pressed glass floral cab caught my eye instantly.
These tiny Lucite roses were made in Japan in the 1950s.

I thought I'd spotlight a few of my favorite Etsy shops this month for gorgeous, unique vintage beads, cabs, and findings to use in your jewelry and embellishment projects. The first one that caught my eye was Lulu's Vintage Bonanza -- an inviting selection of floral, polka-dot, and horseshoe motifs to craft with.

I love the Lucite and glass pieces most -- they're wonderful to work with and have such a gorgeous, glossy shine. And the carved or molded details are so intricate and pretty. I've picked the three I like best (in the photos here) but Lulu offers an ever-changing mix of vintage pieces, so be sure to favorite her shop if you like her eye for jewelry!

If you like to work with vintage pieces, Etsy and eBay are both fabulous resources. I'll write up another shop I especially like in the next few weeks, too.
