YuXian paper-cut began in the qing dynasty, more than 150 years of history, is one kind of unique style, reputation as the folk art in at home and abroad, its production technology in China in numerous paper-cut. YuXian paper-cutting is China's only one point in intaglio give priority to color and paper-cut knife labor is careful, colour is rich and gaudy, types and well-known opera and animals, wide range of subjects,  life meaning containing full-bodied breath.The process can be divided into six procedure: painting, dip,soaking, carving, dye, package. On May 20, 2006, the folk craft is approved by the state council listed in the first national nonmaterial cultural heritage list.
