Leg warmers make a great last-minute gift for a fellow fashionista.

Today on the BurdaStyle blog is my project on making a pair of spat-style legwarmers.
This project is the perfect way to use of fabric scraps from your stash. Make them long and scrunchy or short and cute. You can also make them from an old sweater. Whatever fabric you choose, just make sure it stretches enough to fit over your legs.
