We upcycled a stretch velvet dress (adult size) for the top part and a poly with a floral design for the skirt and tie.
My dd made doll sized dress to match for her doll.  It was her first (nearly) solo sewing project.
Matching dolly dress.
Tie and vest for my son.  The vest fabric matches my daughters dress.
Our first pettiskirt.  Shell wear it to Grandmas house on Christmas Eve.  This skirt took a lot of time, but was not hard to make.  My daugther even helped sew the gathers.
We did it in the flat, and tightened the top tension on the machine to allow the machine to gather for us.  This technique made the skirt much quicker.
The third Christmas dress.  I know what little girl needs so many.  Well theyre just so much fun to make.  This one is for the other Grandmas house on Christmas Day.  Its a glitter knit and we trimmed with sequins.
Weve also made a stretch sequin headband.  Its hard to see in the hair, though.

These are the outfits we've made for Christmas.  We're always making something.  Many of the garments we make are or become SquigglyTwigs Designs Patterns.
