Carnelian is a beautiful warm red-orange stone believed by the Romans to enhance courage, and is used in some traditions to improve self-esteem and confidence. I've used one of these beautiful beads as an accent in the clasp of this delicate looking but strong handmade double s-link chain bracelet.

Bracelet is 7 1/2 inches (about 18 cm) long, including clasp. It's made from tarnish-resistant Argentium sterling silver, and is much easier to care for than traditional sterling, while still containing the same amount of pure silver.
