Handmade glass and metal bead bookmark

This 3" brass bookmark is an easy gift to make, but be sure to make one for yourself, too! Glass and metal beads on a gold colored head pin and a matching jump ring are all that is needed to attach a colorful embellishment to the bookmark.

After adding the beads to the head pin, cut the excess pin off to about 1/4" and use your round nose jewelry pliers to form a closed loop at the top. Use a jump ring to add the beads to the bookmark.
