Either Way Dolls
comments (0) December 17th, 2009 in galleryHere are some of the Either Way dolls I made for a house party craft fair last weekend. There were more in the basket at the start of the day! I knot the yarn hair and sew the knot into the seam with several rows of stitching to make it sturdy. Little kids love them because they are cuddly. The waistcoats on the wee fellows are removable to allow for reversing - because either way can be the front of the doll. I use a mixture of quilting cottons, upholstery remnants and vintage fabrics (many from India but that's another story).
