If you've ever wanted to feel more connected to your fibers, check out Etsy's Handmade Portrait video with Susan Gibbs of Martha's Vineyard Fiber Farm. She runs her business on a CSA (Community Sponsored Agriculture) model-- meaning you can actually buy a share of the fiber harvest in order to help her run the farm. Plus you get the added benefit of getting to know the animals, which strikes me as really cool! Her shares for 2008 are all sold out, but you can still purchase her yarns in her Etsy Store.
