Use a clean, empty cardboard oatmeal box with lid (the round kind, that look like a tall drum).  Cover it with decorative paper and trim the top and bottom edges with ribbon.  The box is the perfect size to store your headbands on, and the interior of the box can hold your barrettes, hair clips, brush, etc.
