Crackle Agate Necklace - Victorian Inspired, in Copper
comments (0) January 7th, 2010 in galleryOne of the more ornate necklaces that I've made, this piece reminds me of Victorian era ironwork, with its complex and beautiful curves and ornamentation.
The chain is made with handmade four-leaf clovers, jumprings and s-links in beautiful, warm copper. The gorgeous stone, whose color goes from white, to peach, to a tone approaching that of the copper, is framed in copper and crowned with another clover to continue the motif. The crackling throughout the highly polished stone accents its delicate color.
The necklace is 18 1/2 inches (46 cm), not including the pendant. The stone is about 1 1/4 x 1 3/4 inches (3 cm x 4cm).
