Christmas Pillows from Recylced Curtains, Scraps, and Buttons
comments (1) January 7th, 2010 in galleryMy roommate and I recently moved into a new apartment and the curtains we had from our last place weren't long enough for the new windows. They were such a pretty material that I couldn't just throw them away. One day, my roommate came home and was talking about buying some throw pillows for our couch - and that's when the lightbulb went on! I turned the unused curtains into Christmas pillows, and decorated them using buttons, scraps and an applique technique. Everyone who came to our house over the Christmas holiday just adored them - I even had a few requests to make some for next year!
