Eco-Friendly Christmas Gift Tags
comments (1) January 7th, 2010 in galleryThis is an eco-friendly craft at it's best. You will be repurposing, recycling, reducing and recrafting all at the same time. It is also child friendly and fun to do after the holidays. It gives your family a chance to re-read all the holiday cards received from friends and family. After you have read them, get out your pinking shears or other fancy edging scissors and cut the cards up into sizes large enough to use as gift tags on your presents for next year. Usually you can completely use the picture (left) side of the card which if it hasn't been written on will make many tags. I even cut around the hand written notes, if I can. Punch a small hole in the corner and place a piece of ribbon, raffia or cording through the hole and that's it!
