The reporter pocket plain notebook is a portable 5.5 x 3.5 inches journal made with a durable spiral-bound binding and offers 192 plain (blank) acid-free paper pages. The only difference between the Reporter and a traditional notebook is the location of the binding at the top of the book, and the hard cover that flips opens at the top, characteristic of reporter's notebooks.
Thus, the elastic closure, which helps keeps the book closed when not in use, is located at the bottom of the book (about 1" from the base).
