I love Nancy Flynn's blog, Belle Epoque, and the site she co-edits, getcrafty.com. And her book, Jeaneology, has some fantastic ideas for crafting with reclaimed denim! Just stop by the thrift store or choose a pair you never wear anymore, and you'll have material for a half-dozen projects at your fingertips.

Two of my favorite pieces (modeled here by Nancy) are the Garden Blues Flower Choker and the Cuff 'Em Bracelet. They're fun, accessible pieces to make -- so whether you have a needle and thread or sewing machine at your disposal, you'll be wearing your new finery in no time! You could also customize your cuff and choker with your favorite beads or rhinestones, or contrast stitching, for an extra-personalized element.
