This pretty piece is my first bowl! Created entirely by hand, I made this bowl from earthenware clay which fires to a beautiful white. Each vine, leaf, and flower were handmade and attached to the bowl before it was fired in the kiln for 12 hours to 1820 degrees. After that, the vines and flowers were hand painted and the bowl was fired for 6 hours to 1800 degrees. The final step was to add a clear glaze and fire it again. The final product is food safe and ready for a new home!
