Blue Fairy from my fabric fairies numbered collection. It is made from fabric, felt, sequins and the face is hand painted. This is fairy number 5.

I designed my own pattern inspiring myself on three different things: a lampshade I own, J. R. R. Tolkien's elfes and my interpretation of Fairy Peribanou and her maidens, from a story by Pearl S. Buck (she makes no specific description of them, so I was able to design my own). The fairy worl she has created in that story is magical to me. I hope you find my fairies magic as well.

Some parts of the fairies are machine sewn, other are handstitches. All detail work is done by hand. The face is handpainted.
