Monet's Gardens clogs
comments (1) February 8th, 2010 in galleryMy mom is a therapist who goes from house to house seeing patients and her shoes always get lots of attention since she's always taking them off and putting them on. She wears grey suede clogs, however grey suede starts to turn greenish and get icky after a while. With everyone looking at her shoes, it was very embarrasing to wear icky-looking shoes, but structurally they were sound and saw no point in replacing them. So I painted them, covering them entirely with Monet's garden, complete with floating lilies, a weeping willow, and the Japanese bridge.
