I've always been creeped out by my dad's t-shirt that has the picture of someone staring out from behind blinds as a kid. But I started to grow on it and decided to do the same for a pair of shoes. It turned out great as has creeped other people out since!
I fell in love with trees recently and painted a huge one on my bedroom wall. It seemed like a good idea for a pair of shoes and this is the result!
Another one of my creations, this was done when I got hooked on playing cards during a phase that I'm now over. This pair has been with me throughout and long after but despite the test of time, I still love it!
The seven rainbow colours, representing gay pride. Below are the lyrics from my favourite song which was dedicated to someone very important to me since two years ago. I used seven coloured threads to sew on the shoe, giving it a 3D effect.
Inspired by M.C. Escher, a very talented and inspiring artist. I was inspired when I came across his beautiful drawing of 'Hand holding globe', depicting his view and vision of the world around him.

These shoes depict the progress and growth I have made since I had the passion of shoes and art. I like to believe that this talent is not God-given but is worked for, so I will strive towards maintaining it, instead of taking for granted that it will always be there. I will continue to search for more inspiration, and to express myself through my creations. I hope to inspire others the way others have inspired me.
