PLAY BALL: I'm using up my skeins of organic cotton to make totally awesome market bags. The handles are repurposed from thrift store finds. Inexpensive to create, the bags work up quickly on Number 50 knitting needles and a crochet hook. Creating broomstick in the round means no seams. The handles are crocheted into the top edge of the bag.

This is one of my most winning designs. That's a personal opinion of course.

The very first afghan I made was broomstick and it was awful, so I never did it again, but moved on to other projects. It was a discovery on You Tube that prompted me to try it in the round. And, it was a Stitch Diva video. She's an awesome designer and I have crocheted a few of her designs. Thank you, this is the first time I have posted any of my work...
