This purse originated as a Home Ec project in High School and has never left my purse collection since. It has been through countless trips and a baby and it still keeps going. It has been repatched and relined countless times, but the basic framework of the purse has never needed mending. Not bad for a first time sewing project! The design is fairly simple and can probably be found somewhere. It just started as a pair of old second hand Mom Jeans ( you know the ones....think roomy toosh) and some scrap fabric. I have since added felt pathches and homemade buttons. Gosh I love this purse! My son loves it, too. He uses it as a pillow whenever we are out and about!
