This bag is used as my son's library book bag. I got the canvas bag, plain, at a local craft store for half-price with a coupon. I used a copier to enlarge the letter to the size I wanted and traced it onto the canvas bag with a fabric safe pen. Next, I stiched around the letter in black to make it really pop. Last, but definately not least, I sewed buttons in a pleasing-yet-fitting design into the bag. This took quite a while; making sure there wasn't too much room in between the buttons and making them fit was a pain. But, overall I think it turned out cute! And boy, did it ever clean out my button stash!
