One of the biggest fashion trends around the world this year is the tribal trend. From Afghanistan, Native American earrings to tribal inspired handbags, you will find plenty of beautiful accessories depicting the tribal fashion trend.
Beaded jewelry includes necklace and bracelets made of strands of lapis lazuli, carnelian, jade and other stones. We also have chokers, discs and other ornaments that use seed beads in bright, tightly sewn designs, similar to Native American beadwork.
Pashtun jewelry tends to use chains, beads, old glass remnants, cutwork and hammered designs. The belt buckle to the left uses a technique of blowing mercury through a straw to create the design- it is no longer done due to the high incidence of mercury poisoning.

Nomadic and tribal jewelry from Afghanistan and the region. The different tribal groups make jewelry from various metals, semi-precious stones and glass or wooden beads. We carry both antique and new jewelry of Pashtun, Turkman, Kazak, and Hazara origin. The new pieces help support artisans both in Afghanistan and refugees in the Peshawar area. These are available in quantity in many different designs, especially non-silver and semi-precious stones.
