Measure and cut the pieces
Use your body's measurement to determine what size to cut the fabrics.

1. Measure your body circumference. Have a friend measure your body's circumference at your bustline with your arms at your sides. Add a few inches to the measurement if you want a loose-fitting stole.

2. Cut the fur. Cut the fur to a width equal to your body circumference (measured in step 1) minus 7 inches and 16 inches long. Cut with the fur nap parallel to the length.

3. Cut the woven fabric. Cut the fabric the same width as the fur but 11 inches long.

4. Cut the ribbing. Cut a 10-inch by 26-inch piece of ribbing. Make sure the ribbing runs perpendicular to the 10-inch side.
