My Kitchen Stuff
comments (1) April 4th, 2010 in galleryWe had done our home renovation by ourselves last year and I said to myself why I didn't make anything for the kitchen. This whole kitchen stuff was done before last Christmas by me :)
Platemats and tablerunner had medium felt lining inside and they were reversible. I used silver thread stitched on red side and red thread on beige color side. Burgundy red and beige color matching with my homemade window curtains, my chairpad covers, also with the tiles and my hardwood floor in the kitchen.
Napkin rings , I used Fragile-look silver crytals and others. I always love crochet. And here are my crochet coasters, also sparkling burgundy red and silver wool (100% cotton).
I work in banking area but love designing, sewing, crochet... in my free time. I do all kind though. My goal is do whatever I can for our family, fit with our styles and minimize the cost.
I've never joined any sewing class and never used any pattern but designed and stitched alot. If there was anything interesting caught my eyes in stores I would stop, took a deep looking and figured out how that thing could be done. That was the way I learned. I don't think I could win in this contest because I saw lots of sewers and crafters are so talented and creative...Just want to share with everyone my works. Little thing could make me happy.
