For one of my projects towards my Woman's Studies degree, I knit a lace dress on broomstick needles, out of my own design that was created initially as a Barbie gown for my daughter, Grace. Then I deconstructed the gown, reknit it into a sweater of my own design as well, then documented the entire effort in an analytical paper.
